If you are interested in blockchain, I am sure that you have already heard more than once about a promising and developing project Injective Protocol.

The Injective Protocol aims to create a fully decentralized cross-chain derivatives exchange aims to be a global derivatives platform, where anyone can gain exposure to any market, regardless of location and without limitation of access to any type of asset.

Let’s take a look at their February updates from which it will be clear how they go step by step towards their goal.

February 2021 Update

1. Launch Equinox Staking as the final Injective testnet.

Equinox Staking is introducing an entirely new model of incentivized staking in which both validators and delegators can participate.

This provides unique avenues to test both the staking features and the governance processes that will be integral for Injective moving forward.

2. Onboarded prominent genesis validators including Huobi Pool, Stakewithus and Chorus.

Huobi Pool is a major mining and staking provider within the crypto world.

Onboarding top validators such as Huobi Pool is part of mission to test the robust security parameters of Injective while also continuing to further decentralize network. Collaborating closely with the Huobi Pool team to bring forth innovative staking solutions for users worldwide. In addition, Huobi will help to reach new user bases over time which helps to increase the global presence of Injective.

Stakewith.us provides secured yield solutions for crypto asset investors. Their 24/7 monitoring system ensures that issues are identified and rectified in a timely manner.

In addition, they have consistently achieved high uptime rates which will be integral for Injective moving forward

Chrous One is one of the largest European validators today with more than $500M under management.

Chorus One The Injective Protocol has the potential to bring the non-custodial (DEX) trading experience up to par with centralized exchanges while maintaining a familiar interface for traders. This is a really important puzzle piece to enable a truly decentralized and open financial system.

3 Injective locked in key collaborations with Huobi Eco Chain, Avalanche, Ocean Protocol, Conflux, Covalent, and Marlin Protocol.

Heco is a new public chain developed by Huobi that enables seamless smart contract integrations.

Injective is integrating with Huobi Eco Chain to accelerate cross-chain derivatives adoption. In addition, Injective will become the first project to introduce decentralized derivatives trading to the Heco ecosystem.

Adding Heco to Injective array of products will enable users to access novel derivative products not found elsewhere in the market.

Avalanche is an open-source platform for launching decentralized applications and enterprise blockchain deployments in one interoperable, highly scalable ecosystem.

Injective’s integration between Injective and Avalanche will help unlock a new age of interoperability that will fundamentally shift the trajectory of DeFi towards a much more equitable future.

Ocean Protocol is a blockchain-based ecosystem that allows individuals and businesses to easily unlock the value of their data and monetize it through the use of ERC-20 based datatokens.

Moving forward, this will enable Injective users to both create and trade on new derivative markets that utilize the data products deployed on Ocean. This is another step towards establishing datatokens as first class citizens of DeFi and introducing a new asset class into DeFi space.

Conflux is a layer one blockchain protocol that delivers heightened scalability, security, and extensibility for the next generation of decentralized commerce.

Adding Conflux to Injective array of products will aid their users in being able to access novel derivative products not found elsewhere in the market.

Covalent leverages big-data technologies to create meaning from hundreds of billions of data points, delivering actionable insights to investors and allowing developers to allocate resources to higher-utility goals within their organization.

By partnering with Covalent, will be gain further access to real-time and granular blockchain data through the enterprise-grade Covalent API.

Marlin is a unique layer 0 protocol that allows blockchain-based networks to achieve higher scalability and throughput.

Combined with Marlin’s technology, it is inevitable that Injective will reach speeds and throughput that is years ahead of their competitors.

4. This month Injective Protocol hosted a number of talks and panels to ramp up their community across the globe.

Injective Protocol participated in a panel discussion of Binance Blockchain Week about the future of crypto exchanges Featuring. They also hosted discussions on various aspects of DeFi with AllianceBlock, UniLend, Covalent, and Ramp DeFi. Injective also hosted first-ever Reddit AMA with Kava.

5. Injective Protocol continued to roll their new guides and tutorials on their Injective Learn blog to prepare their community for staking, while also beginning to post video overviews on Injective.

As you can see, all these updates are aimed at achieving of Injective Protocol’s goal to create a completely decentralized, reliable and fast market leading exchange that is able to surpass centralized exchanges with respect to both user numbers and trading volume.
